"It’s an easy matter for me to comment on Ocelli Designs qualifications as a General Contractor having just successfully completed a six month project with them at my residence in Pacific Palisades. As a practicing Architect for nearly fifty years I am very familiar with the construction business and all the many unforeseen conditions that seem to best define this process.

Let me say first and foremost, Joe Altieri, its owner, is a craftsman with a great appreciation for details. On many occasions he would solve problems even when solutions weren’t obvious. My project scope ranged from heavy construction with large structural timbers, requiring a heavy amount of underpinning of an existing structure, while adding new components with delicate attention to details.

Mr. Altieri has affiliated himself with a variety of sub-contractors, many of whom he works with regularly. In every instance they were as professional as Ocelli Design and I took comfort in knowing that working together is part of their ongoing relationship. His staff members are equally attentive to craft and detail and all are very personable and were very sensitive to working in an environment that we lived in during the process.

His construction site was immaculately cleaned at the end of each day; tools packed away, debris swept up and supplies re-organized for the day ahead. This contributed to a very safe construction environment for his workers each day and a visual relief for us at the end of each day.

Joe is a good communicator, always outlining a schedule for us about what was coming and always telling us after what had been accomplished.

He anticipates well and always has a good work plan layed out for the days ahead. This allowed us to adjust accordingly as unexpected things arose without jeopardizing the schedule.

We were under a six month deadline as we were planning to host a wedding party thereafter for 150 guests. We made it with enough time to do final touch ups around the property and were very satisfied with both the process and the product.

As such it is without hesitation that I recommend Ocelli Design highly to undertake any general contracting work that you might anticipate and am willing to speak with you personally about his qualifications. "
